I love my current philosophy of getting "my sound" completed by end of my pedal board chain. Then I can use any amp, PA or monitoring system. I can put the signal to the FOH, to my stack, to a mixing console, to headphones--it always sounds like me no matter what. When you rely on your amp to get your sound, this doesn't work.
